Kajsa Balto tour brought Sámi music and storytelling to young audiences in northern Sweden

Between 16 and 20 March 2026, a tour with Sámi artist Kajsa Balto took place in northern Sweden. The programme included five school concerts in Haparanda, Pajala, Kiruna and Boden, as well as one public concert in Jokkmokk.
Through the programme Buot eallá (“Everything lives”), young audiences and local communities encountered joik, songs and storytelling rooted in Sámi tradition. The tour is an example of how Arctic Pulse works to increase the visibility of Sámi and minority-language music and to bring living cultural heritage to children and young people through concerts and artist encounters
