Arctic Pulse Stage Connected Oulu, Kiruna and Tromsø at Frozen People 2026
On 28 February 2026, Arctic Pulse hosted its own stage at Frozen People Festival on the frozen sea in Nallikari, Oulu. The stage brought together artists from three northern festival platforms: grisha223 from Insomnia Festival in Tromsø, Klint Andersson & Leifdroid from Headframes in Kiruna, and Malsson together with Oulu Sound Collective from Frozen People in Oulu.
The stage was part of an ongoing cross-border DJ exchange between Frozen People, Headframes and Insomnia Festival. Through this format, Arctic Pulse is helping create new opportunities for DJs, organisers and festival platforms in the North to collaborate, share artists and build stronger connections across borders.
Presented in collaboration with the City of Oulu, and with support from Interreg Aurora and Lapin Liitto, the Arctic Pulse Stage showed how electronic music communities in northern Finland, Sweden and Norway can meet in one shared public platform — and how Arctic Pulse can strengthen the electronic music scene in the Arctic through new collaborations and events.
